About Me…

I am your local, friendly garden designer.

I am passionate about horticulture and garden design. I love to make beautiful and practical gardens that make my clients happy. My bespoke garden and landscape designs range from a contemporary courtyard in Chelmsford to a classical country garden in Rayleigh. Every garden design is unique to the client’s desires and needs.

My background is varied, from working as a piano teacher, photography studio manager and banking relationship manager. I decided to follow my true passion for creativity and in 2017 I embarked on a Foundation Degree in Garden Design and Plantsmanship via the Royal Agricultural University and Capel Manor College. Since then I have been following my dream and designing timeless and sustainable gardens. I also enjoy passing on my knowledge of plants and gardening through Garden Lessons, which are tailored to you, including after care of your newly planted garden.

Amy Louise Garden Design is based in Rayleigh, Essex and covers the surrounding areas from Maldon to Billericay to Thorpe Bay and more. If you are outside of South East, please still get in touch as Amy can give virtual Garden Consultations and Garden Designs, but also loves a road trip.
